This is the website for the folk-chamber music group THROUGH the TREES
Greetings and welcome to the official website of THROUGH the TREES, a folk-chamber music group based in West Virginia. Our core trio features Jim Probst on multifingered lap dulcimer; Ray Garnett on stratospheric viola and violin; and Douglas John Imbrogno on vocals and a plugged-in, jacked-up Guild classical guitar. We perform what we call ‘folk chamber music,’ interpreting and re-interpreting songs old and new, plus some of our own originals.
